‘Rich Man’ Cristiano Ronaldo Gives Rs 16 Lakh Tip At A Greek Hotel, Twitter Stunned

Ronaldo will now be getting an annual salary of around 30 million euros ($35.205 million) from Juventus

Portugal football captain Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly left a whopping £17,850 (Rs 16 lakh approx) tip for a staff at the Greek luxury hotel where he stayed with his family.

Following Portugal’s exit from the World Cup at the hands of Uruguay, Ronaldo took a short break and flew to stay at a hotel in the Mediterranean with his family.

According to Daily Mail, football star was so impressed by the service at the Costa Navarino resort in the Peloponnese region of Greece that he claimed he could not leave without rewarding them.

During the vacations, Ronaldo posted pictures of himself soaking up the sun with partner Georgina Rodriguez and his son, along with snaps of sitting out for dinner with friends.

Earlier, soon after Portugal’s exit from the FIFA World, Ronaldo stunned his Real Madrid fans after he announced that he will join Italian club Juventus on a four-year deal.

Ronaldo left Real after spending nine years with them. Ronaldo won four Champions Leagues, two La Liga titles and two Copa del Reys during his time at the Bernabeu.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Ronaldo will now get an annual salary of around 30 million euros ($35.205 million) from Juventus, making him the third highest paid footballer in Europe.

According to Forbes, Ronaldo earned about US$108 million in 2017 including his off-field endorsements.

The Portuguese star is currently in the Chinese capital for two days as part of his annual “CR7 Tour”.
