Rohit Sharma achieved this feat after he smashed a six against Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI at Mohali to go past batting legend Sachin Tendulkar.

Rohit Sharma is now at number 2 with 83 sixes and Sachin is at number 3 with 71. MS Dhoni has hit 119 sixes, which is 37 sixes more than Rohit Sharma. This is an Indian record created on the Indian soil.
