IPL 2018: Watch Players Smash Ishan Kishan’s Face In Cake As MI Celebrate Hat-trick Of Wins!

IPL 2018: The 19-year-old cricketer from Jharkhand scored the second-fastest half-century of this season, along with Sunil Narine

Ishan Kishan smashed a 17-ball 50 to help Mumbai Indians (MI) beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and instantly became the toast of ‘Maximum City’ and of course the players. Mumbai Indians beat Kolkata Knight Riders in the return clash at Eden Gardens by a thumping 102 runs. This means they have still kept their hopes of playoffs alive. It was a much-needed victory for the franchise and it was heartwarming to see a young player stand up and take responsibility. He scored a 21-ball 62 which helped Mumbai Indians score 210 runs.

Earlier, Kishan was promoted to No 4 on the batting order. He came into bat in the 10th over when the MI were reduced to 62/2. Kuldeep bowled the first ball to Kishan and was beaten ruthlessly, and it seems that miss triggered Kishan’s onslaught where he threw his bat at everything. After the game was over, Kishan had become the darling in the dressing-room. This video is a testament to that.

In the video, you can see Kishan cut the cake as his teammates playfully smash his face into the cake. Kishan seemed to have given up the hope of an escape from getting a cake-facial and even Sachin Tendulkar and the rest of the MI staff seems to have enjoyed the lighthearted moment.
