IPL 2018: Will Kolkata Knight Riders face Chennai Super Kings in the final of IPL 2018? This advertisement certainly puts a stamp on that!

Hotstar, the official application for streaming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018, has committed a blunder by showing the advertisement of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) playing in final. The video has been doing rounds on social networking websites like Twitter and Facebook. While CSK have qualified for the final with a dramatic win over Sunrisers Hyderabad, KKR are fighting Rajasthan Royals (RR) for a spot in the qualifier against SRH.

The final will be played on May 27 at Wankhede Stadium. The team which wins the eliminator will take on SRH who have been potent throughout the season.

Earlier, Hotstar witnessed record-breaking 8.2 million viewers (82 lakhs) streaming the CSK vs SRH qualifier match on May 22. The game got right down to the wire as Faf du Plessis revived the run-chase with the help of Shardul Thakur after a major batting collapse. du Plessis finished off the match with a six, sealing CSK’s berth in final after Thakur’s cameo.
