IPL 2018, CSK v DD: MS Dhoni Gives Rishabh Pant Feedback And The Picture Goes Viral!

IPL 2018, CSK v DD: Seems like Dhoni is giving feedback to Pant after the match and Pant, like an obedient student, is paying attention to the teacher

Rishabh Pant’s 79 seems to have caught the attention of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, just like Ishaan Kishan did the other night. Pant’s fighting knock may not have helped Delhi Daredevils win the match as Chennai Super Kings beat them by 13 runs, but young Pant seems to have won quite a few hearts at Pune. The win by MSD’s CSK solidified their spot at the top of the points table and ensured that DD plummet once again to the last spot. As of now, the IPL campaign of Daredevils seems to be over. Yet again MS Dhoni did not disappoint his fans with the bat as he smashed a 22-ball 51 powered CSK to a mighty 211. That meant a resurgent Delhi without Gautam Gambhir were chasing 212, which looked a little too steep for them early on.

But when DD started the chase, they made a real match of it thanks to Rishabh Pant and Vijay Shankar. They came together when Maxwell departed when the score was at 74 for 4, and DD was looking down the barrel. But Pant-Shankar ensured that they d0 not go down without fighting and pushed CSK into thinking mode. The partnership of 88 came to an end when Pant got dismissed. Pant was the dominant scorer in the partnership. Once Pant was out, Shankar carried on fighting and took it deep into the final over, only to lose by 13 runs.

Here is the picture of Dhoni giving feedback to the young Turk after the match and Pant, like an obedient student, seems to be paying attention to his teacher.
