Virat Kohli ignores MS Dhoni, goes for the review and fails again — Watch Video

Once again the incident happened during the 2nd T20I between Indian and New Zealand in Rajkot on November 4

Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been known for his smartness on the field when he is behind the stumps with his wicket-keeping gloves on. If Dhoni goes for a review, even the biggest Pundits of the cricket agrees that the batsman is out. On the other hand, whenever Virat Kohli asks for a review despite Dhoni’s denial, the final decision doesn’t fall in India’s favour. Once again the same incident happened during the 2nd T20I between Indian and New Zealand in Rajkot on November 4.

The incident happened during the 12th over when wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal delivered a slower ball to which Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson went down on his knees to play a sweep shot. He missed the shot while the ball lobbed off his fore-arm, went up in the air and was caught by MS Dhoni. After grabbing the ball, Dhoni didn’t suggest to go for a review, however, Kohli went for it.

Third umpire Shamsuddin had several views on the TV replays and asked the on-field umpires to ‘stay with your decision’.

Earlier today, New Zealand won the toss side for the 2nd time in this series and opted to bat first. Kiwi openers Martin Guptill and Colin Munro provided a perfect start to the team as they went on to add 105 runs for the first wicket. India got the first breakthrough in the 12th over when Guptill lost his wicket to Yuzvendra Chahal. Soon, the guest had another blow as their skipper Kane Williamson went back to pavilion after losing his wicket to debutant pacer Mohammed Siraj.

However, Munro kept on hammering the Indian bowlers and was playing on 97 when the story was getting reported.
