The India vs South Africa match is all set to begin at the Kennington Oval and meanwhile, players like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and R Ashwin were spotted sweating in the practice sessions

The date is June 11 and it’s the virtual quarter-final between India and South Africa in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.  It’s going to be a fight to enter the semi-finals. Both the teams started their tournament with winning their first games but after they lost their next games, the men in blue and Proteas are on the same page. The teams would be putting all their efforts and probably, it’s going to be a bigger bash than the India vs Pakistan game as the one who loses will have to leave for home. The match is all set to begin at the Kennington Oval and meanwhile, both the teams were spotted sweating in the practice sessions.


The star spinner of the team, R Ashwin was not included in the last two games. However, it’s being speculated that he would find a place in the playing XI. He was also spotted on the ground during the net sessions and a video was shared on the official Twitter page of the BCCI where he could be seen practising.

Apart from Ashwin, Virat Kohli also tried out some deliveries in the nets. In the last game against Sri Lanka, he was out for a duck. However, the entire nation still expects from the captain fearless to play a big knock in such a crucial game. His practice video was shared on Twitter by BCCI with a caption which said,”#CT17 – #TeamIndia skipper @imVkohli sweating it out in the nets #INDvSA.”

He was the ‘Player of the Match’ in the first game but couldn’t do much against Sri Lanka. And today, if need to score a memorable knock as his team would be needing him to score in the middle. BBCi shares a video in which Yuvraj Singh was seen practising some shots in the nets. The video was shared with a caption,”#CT17 – #TeamIndia all-rounder @YUVSTRONG12 going through his net session #INDvSA.”

Last but not the least, the former captain and the one who played a supportive knock by hitting a half-century against Sri Lanka, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He could be seen warming up on the nets.

Meanwhile, the Proteas were spotted discussing some important strategy ahead of the game which will decide their fate in this tournament.
