India's victorious U-19 campaign Rahul Dravid kept a low-profile, as he did not want his players to get distracted during the big event

Rahul Dravid epitomizes the gentleman’s game like no one else!

Former batting maestro, Rahul Dravid,  marshalled the Prithvi Shaw-led India U19 Cricket team to the 2018 ICC U19 World Cup glory, which was a quite a feat for the cricketer. BCCI has recently accepted the demand for parity in cash rewards announced after India won the 2018 ICC U-19 World Cup earlier this month.

Earlier, the BCCI had announced a cash reward of Rs 50 lakhs for Rahul Dravid and Rs 20 lakhs for the support staff members. The reward for World Cup winning team members was Rs 30 lakh each. Apparently, after Dravid’s request, every member of the coaching staff, including Dravid, will receive Rs 25 lakh.

In literal terms, Dravid sacrificed Rs 25 lakhs, which is no mean amount.

Once this news spread, Dravid’s fans lavished praise for the former cricketer for being so selfless, like only he can.

Can we please just elect Dravid to the post of PM?

I know it sounds silly, but this is the kind of person India needs. Someone who cares for others. Everything else can be learnt, but decency & kindness come from within.
