Amid the rumours of Virat Kohli marrying Anushka Sharma in Italy this month, the CEO of one of the most renowned Australian cricket grounds has wished to host Indian captain’s wedding. The CEO of Adelaide Oval—Andrew Daniels—has shown interest in hosting Anushka and Virat’s wedding at one of the world’s iconic stadiums.

As reported by the Hindustan Times, Daniels and his management team would be ‘thrilled’ to host Virat’s wedding at the Adelaide Oval. In a statement, he said,

We would be thrilled to host Virat and Anushka’s wedding at Adelaide Oval. It would be fantastic for Virat to create more happy memories here, considering his outstanding playing history at the Oval.

Daniels also gave details on how the Adelaide Oval staff would make this function memorable (only if Virat agrees). He said,

With 26 purpose-built function spaces to choose from, combined with a showcase of South Australia’s finest food and wine it would be an unforgettable day for the future Mr and Mrs Kohli and their guests.

Well, it’s no less than an honour for an international cricketer to receive such an offer. But well, it is yet to be confirmed whether Virat and Anushka would actually tie the knot at the year-end as the latter’s spokesperson rubbished the reports of the Bollywood starlet getting married.
