India To Soon Host Its 1st Day-Night Test Match, Thanks To Ganguly

India will play against Bangladesh in a two-match Test series.

India is all set to host its first day-night Test cricket match at the iconic Eden Gardens on November 22 in Kolkata where India will play against Bangladesh in a two-match Test series. Till now, BCCI hasn’t been very keen to introduce day-night matches aka pink ball Test match. The decision was taken by BCCI’s new chief Sourav Ganguy, who has been a vocal supporter of day-night matches. As of now, India, Bangladesh along with Afghanistan and Ireland  are the only teams to not have played day-night Test cricket.
