It’s okay to celebrate and drink once in a while. But with such high costs of beer in India, just a few pints can empty your pockets. So, what to do when you want to go out with your friends to have some tipsy moment? Or throw back a few beers while talking about your boss after a hard day at work without it costing you an arm and leg? Well, we do not know about others but we Delhiites are in luck for here as we have some places where beers are cheaper. So, to help our fellow brothers, sisters and special ones (ahem ahem), we have a listed 11 budget beer bars where you can enjoy without worrying about the money.

Cafe MRP: Just opposite Odeon Cinema of Connaught Place, this lounge bar-cum-cafe is one of our personal favourite. Enjoy a few mugs or pints while binge eating and you will definitely forget all your stress. Though music is quite loud and it’s difficult to have any conversation, the place makes it perfect to chill and forget all your worries. Here, you can get a beer at the minimum of Rs.50 per pint.

My Bar: This restobar with several outlets is a popular hangout spot for a college crowd. Many of you may have visited its one or other branch. With beer that costs Rs. 79 per pint, it is a good place to just sit back and relax. It also has a great menu to solve your hunger troubles.

Ardor: Just wanna chill? Try Ardor, situated in Outer Circle of Connaught Place. With a reasonable price of Rs. 125 per pint, enjoy the cool and laid back ambiance of the lounge.

736 A.D.: – Revel in the throwback vibe of this restobar. The place reflects the historical essence of the newly discovered Delhi in 736. With a beer pint at Rs. 90 soak in the essence of this place without shelling out a fortune. Visit 736 A.D. at G-15/B, Vijay Nagar.

Castle 9: Sophisticated, elegant and white light filled, this restobar has a reasonably priced beer at Rs. 120 per pint. It is a great place to either drink your woes or celebrate the end of the month without emptying your pockets. It is located at B-45/47, 1st Floor, Connaught Place.

TC Bar & Restaurant: If you are anywhere near Adchini, do venture out to this restaurant-cum-bar. Enjoy the excellent rock music, amazing food and the poison of your choice here. The beer pint cost Rs. 135 and it is a great place to kill the time.

Beeryani: The place sure lives up to its name. You can grab a beer at Rs. 100 with some Hyderabadi biryani to add to your evening enjoyment. You can scout any of the two outlets of this bar — M-44, Greater Kailash (GK) 2 or Shop 2, Main Market, SDA.

Thugs: Want to be amidst the filmy villains? Well, all you have to do is visit this bar at Hotel Broadway, 4/15 A, Daryaganj. The dramatic decor captures and reflects the essence of on-screen Hindi film villain with drinks like “Mona Darling” and “Arey Oh Sambha”. The whole setting is done in a way that you will feel like you are sitting amongst the criminal minds drinking the beer at a cheap price of Rs. 95.

Office Office: Now, here is an office that is much more fun! And by fun, we mean cheap beer and good music. The name may be a buzz kill but the quirky decor and economical drinks make it an amazing place to hangout at. Visit Office Office at 48, Tolstoy Lane, Janpath for some fun time. The beer here only costs Rs. 95 a pint and we assure you that the overtime at this ‘Office’ will not have you regretting.

Teddy Boy: This place is a massive paradox with its eerie yet comfortable decor including deer heads. It’s got a gothic and grungy feel and yet gives off chilled out vibes. The dark and dim lit bar with a great menu and beer for Rs. 99 is a place to try out. Head to N-86, 1st Floor, Outer Circle, Connaught Place.

Lord of the Drinks: The name of the bar certainly explains it all. It offers gorgeous brews to get drunk on. For Rs. 85 a pint you can drink away your woes without your wallet suffering a major set back. Save your credit cards dignity and visit Lord of the Drinks at G-72, 1st Floor, Outer Circle, Connaught Place.
