After her ‘big fat Indian wedding’ to entrepreneur Anand Ahuja, the next big Sonam Kapoor news is her Cannes appearance. Known to be a regular at the film festival as the Loreal beauty ambassador, Sonam was Cannes-ready ever since she stepped out of her flight.
She was spotted wearing this silk satin Madison spotty dress from Mother Of Pearl.
With her hair left open and absolutely no hint of makeup, the actress paired her monochrome dress with a matching Bottega Veneta handbag, oversized sunglasses from Victoria Beckham and ankle-length shoes from Chloé. As soon as we had a glimpse of this look, we were quite sure that Sonam was going to nail her red carpet look like a pro.
Sonam made a grand entry in a custom ivory lehenga by Ralph & Russo, with gorgeous silver embellishment detailing all over it. The mehendi in her hands surprisingly made an interesting addition to her ensemble and Sonam probably chose to go with an Indo-western outfit, making the mehendi seem like a cool addition.
The dramatic sleeves made it a perfect pick for the red carpet and Sonam looked like she was a fairytale princess.
The actress chose to go for a traditional hairdo, with a loosely braided ponytail decorated with Amrapali hair jewellery. She completed her look with dewy makeup, minimal accessories, and just a hint of pink on her lips to make her outfit stand out.
For her second look, Sonam Kapoor chose to go for bright pastel hues and wore an easy-breezy ice blue number from Delpozo, laden with an array of red roses printed on the dress.
She rounded off her look with matching red shoes from Charlotte Olympia and a Jimmy Choo clutch. Adding a whole other level of class to her look, were emerald earrings from De Grisogono. And for her makeup, the actress opted for the reliable smokey kohled eyes, with a bold red lip colour.
Well, Sonam Kapoor’s fashion choices has never disappointed fans. We won’t be surprised if her Cannes appearance with the mehendi becomes a trend now.
