On this Chocolate Day, we will throw light on the importance and significance of the different type of chocolates. Produced from the Cocoa bean, here is the list of different varieties of chocolates. All of them comes with plenty of health benefits.

Milk chocolate: Made from Cocoa bean, sugar, Cocoa butter, condensed milk or milk powder, it works as a stimulator, to the brain, to the emotions, and increases your stamina but along with high-fat content and sugar.

Dark chocolate: Made from the seed of the cocoa tree, it is one of the best sources of antioxidants available. Several studies claim that consuming dark chocolate can improve health and lower the risk of heart disease.

Unsweetened chocolate: This is Pure chocolate without added sugar. This can be defined as a guilt free treat, which comes with plenty of health benefits, including boosting brainpower and enhancing the health of arteries.

Organic chocolate: It is made through all organic means. The Cocoa beans, sugar, milk, nuts, fruit, spices used in it are not treated with synthetic fertilisers, herbicides or pesticides. Rich in Flavonoids, this is reported to have a cancer-fighting antioxidant result.

Bittersweet chocolate: It is 35 percent pure chocolate with some small amount of sugar added. It is commonly used for baking purposes.

Semi-sweet chocolate: This is the most versatile chocolate with at least 35 percent pure chocolate with added cocoa butter and sugar.

White Chocolate: It is not technically one of the types of chocolate because it does not contain any chocolate liquor. It only contains 20% cocoa butter and 14% milk, plus sugar in varying amounts

Ground Chocolate: This is basically the grounded chocolate, which is generally used for making drinks. It is just a regular eating chocolate in the powder form
