However, you can beat winter this time by following some good and effective ‘Daadi-Naani ke nuskhe’. You must be wondering why would you need these ‘nuskhas’ when cosmetics companies offer you a large range of moisturisers. Well! Don’t forget that the use of natural and chemical free products always add value to your skin as compared to those easily available cosmetics.

So, to help you glow with natural shine this winter; here is the list of some ‘nuskhe’.

Oatmeal mask: With antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, Oatmeal is one of the best remedies for dry skin.

How to prepare it: Take 3 tablespoons oatmeal, 1 teaspoon honey, ¼ cup warm milk. Mix all ingredients together. The facemask is ready to use.

How to use: Apply the prepared pack on face and neck. Keep it on for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water. For better results, you are suggested to use this mask at least once a week.

Olive oil massage: Olive oil works as a natural healer and moisturiser for your skin.

How to use it: Take a few drops of oil and massage your body and face with it, at least 30 minutes before going to the shower.

Honey-sandalwood pack: Loaded with antioxidant, honey works wonders in terms of nourishing skin.

How to prepare it:
Take 3 tablespoons sandalwood powder, 1 teaspoon honey and 1 teaspoon rose water. Mix all ingredients together. The face pack is ready to use.

How to use it: Apply this face pack on your face and neck; keep it for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with water.

Note: You can also apply honey to your body without mixing it with any other substance. Before taking a bath or shower, rub honey all over your body and leave it on for five to 10 minutes.

Banana therapy: This rich fruit is a wonderful moisturiser too.

How to prepare it: Take a few slices of banana, mash them properly, now add 1 teaspoon of milk and ½ teaspoon of honey to it.

How to use: Massage your face with this mixture for at least 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water. To keep your skin, lustrous and healthy, use this therapy at least once in a week.
