‘You are playing with fire Pakistan,’ Twitter fumes as Pakistan awards death sentence to Kulbhushan Jadhav

Twitter is left shell-shocked after Pakistan awarded death sentence to alleged Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav for "espionage and sabotage activities"

Former Indian Naval officer and alleged Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav who was arrested on March 3, 2016 in Balochistan was sentenced to death on April 10. The development has left Indians shell-shocked with most of them terming it as a deliberate act of provocation from the Pakistani government.

According to the press release by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Kulbhushan was awarded death sentence through Field General Court Martial (FGCM). Major General Asif Ghafoor confirmed the news asserting that Kulbhushan was awarded death sentence for “espionage and sabotage activities against Pakistan.”

In an alleged “confessional video” released by Pakistan, Jadhav confirmed that he was serving as Indian Navy officer which was confirmed by the Indian government. India has claimed that the “confessional video” released by Pakistan has been doctored. Here’s how Twitterati reacted to Khulbhushan’s death sentence:

#KulbhushanJadhav Pakistan has shown the cowardliness by sentencing Indian Kulbhushan Jadhav.

Breaking: Kulbhushan Jadhav, alleged Indian spy, sentenced to death by PAK military court. Does he not deserve an open and fair trial?

Kulbhushan Jadhav getting death penalty is a major setback. India must react with all the firepower and warn the consequences to Pakistan.
