Kapil Mishra questioned Arvind Kejriwal's silence by singing an old Hindi film song, "Chup chup baithe ho zaroor koi baat hai"

Sacked Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Kapil Mishra who is sitting on a hunger strike questioned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s silence by singing a popular Hindi song, “Chup chup baithe ho zaroor koi baat hai.” While speaking to the media, Mishra affirmed that Kejriwal was silent on the allegations as he had a lot to “hide”.

“Never seen Arvind Kejriwal silent in such a manner. His silence suggests that something is wrong,” Mishra told the reporters. Earlier in the day, Kapil Mishra had asserted that he was going to record his statement with the Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) again adding that he wants Arvind Kejriwal to come out to clean.

“Will go to ACB at 12 noon today, and divulge more details in the Water Tanker scam. I will continue to sit on hunger strike till details of international travel expenses of five AAP leaders are shared,” he had said.

This response comes a day after Mishra was attacked by an AAP supporter during his hunger strike. The assailant identified as Ankit Bhardwaj reportedly walked up to Mishra and slapped him several times before the latter’s supporters came forward to stop him. He responded to the attack stating that he would not retaliate and will continue his fight to “clean” AAP.

Mishra has urged five senior AAP leaders to furnish details of their foreign trips and affirmed that he will continue to be on the hunger strike till his demands are met.
