Wanted criminal nabbed by Delhi police after shootout at Nehru Place

The clash took place early in the morning when a police team chased a group of criminals while one of the criminals open fired on police.

A wanted criminal carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head, Akbar, was arrested by the Delhi police on February 6 morning after a shootout at South Delhi’s Nehru Place area.

In the shootout, two personnel were also injured.

The clash took place early in the morning when a police team chased a group of criminals, whose exact number are not known, near the Eros Hotel in Nehru Place, South Delhi. In return, one of the criminals open fired at the police team which injured two policemen, said by a police official.

While most of them fled away, the most wanted Akbar was nabbed by the cops.
