Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 19 addressed a rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur where he said ‘vanvaas’ of UP’s development must end now and as the country is moving ahead at a fast pace, so must the state. Former CJI Altamas Kabir in critical condition
Altamas Kabir, former Chief Justice of India is in a critical condition and is undergoing a treatment for kidney disorder in a hospital in Kolkata. Kabir was appointed on September 29, 2012, as the 39th Chief Justice of India and got retired from the post on July 19, 2013. News agency PTI quoted former Supreme Court judge Ashok Ganguly as saying,”He is put on a life support system since his condition is very critical.” Ganguly was present at the hospital. Read More
UP elections 2017 Phase 3 Polling: 38.96% voter turnout till 1 pm
Uttar Pradesh registers 38.96 percent voting till 1 pm in the third phase of the assembly elections. Chief Minster Akhilesh Yadav who cast his vote from Saifai said that Samajwadi Party will be forming the party in alliance with the Congress and he is sure about it, whereas BSP chief Mayawati asserted that her party is going to win 300, after casting her vote in Lucknow.
