Subramanian Swamy tweets a photo of Rajinikanth ‘gambling in casino’; calls him 420

Bharaitya Janata Party MP Subramanian Swamy has tweeted an image of superstar Rajinikanth purportedly playing poker and slammed him for “gambling” in a US casino and demanded a probe into the actor’s wealth. Notedly, the Tamil superstar had left for US for his routine medical checkup after the completion of the Mumbai schedule of his forthcoming film Kaala.

Taking to Twitter, Swamy wrote, “Wow! RK 420 in a US Casino gambling to improve his health!! ED must find out from where his $$ came from.” The former Janata party leader referred to Rajnikanth as ‘RK 420’ in his tweets. He also questioned about the ailment of the 66 year old actor for which he had to travel US. He reiterated his position on Rajnikanth’s polical ambitions saying, ‘he will spoil Tamil Nadu politics’

The Kabali actor is on the radar of the lawyer turned politician since the latter dropped strong hints of taking the political plunge. Earlier, Swamy had questioned Rajinikanth’s credentials as a “Tamizhan”, saying his political debut would “spell disaster”.

“He has no future in politics. A new generation of very educated Tamilians who are assertive, influential now want national politics to come to Tamil Nadu. He is unsuitable for becoming the chief minister of Tamil Nadu,” Swamy had said.

Last month, Swamy alleging that Rajinikanth has committed financial fraud.

Speaking to India Today, Swamy advised the south Indian actor against joining politics while claiming to have “substantial proof” of financial irregularities that would ‘knock down’ Rajinikanth’s political ambitions. Swamy also termed the talks of Rajinikanth joining politics as a ‘media hype’.

The superstar has been making comments about the ‘corrupt’ state of politics in Tamil Nadu, as he advised his fans to start preparing for a ‘war’
