In what came as a shock to a number of people across the country, a Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) leader Yogesh Varshney was caught on camera announcing a prize money of Rs 11 lakh for anyone who could get him West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s head.
This statement came after the police officials had to resort to lathicharge to disperse a rally where slogans of “Jai Sri Ram” on Hanuman Jayanti were being raised. “Bring me West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s head, I will give that person Rs 11 lakh,” he said. Following which, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reportedly disowned the youth wing leader.

Soon after he made the statement Twitter erupted with comments and lashed out at the leader for making such a statement.
