Shivpal Yadav announces new party ‘Samajwadi Secular Morcha’, says Mulayam Singh will be its chief

The reports of him forming a new party had been floating around since the assembly elections 2017

Senior Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav on Friday said that he will be forming a new party which will be named ‘Samajwadi Secular Morcha’. He added that SP veteran Mulayam Singh Yadav will be heading the new party. The reports of him forming a new party had been floating around since the assembly elections 2017.

Shivpal made the announcement after a meeting with his brother Mulayam Singh Yadav in Etawah in Uttar Pradesh. “A new secular front soon, with MSY as it’s national President,” he said.

He also said that the secular front will be launched soon to redeem the respect of Netaji. “This secular front will be launched soon to bring the ‘Samajawadis’ together,” he said.
