Sehwag’s reaction to BSF soldier’s viral video will surely touch your heart

No matter the rain, no matter the snow, in all conditions we do our duty, but neither the media nor any minister pay heed to our problems, says jawan.

Former ‘explosive’ Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, who never hesitates in expressing his views on social issues, has openly come out in support of BSF Jawan who shared a video showing the hardship they face at the border.

The former opening batsman took to his Twitter handle to share his opinion and wrote:

“Whatever said and done, our Soldiers and Farmers need to be taken better care of. Proper food needs to reach them all. #Food4Soldiers,” Sehwag tweeted.

Earlier, BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav, who claims to be from the 29th battalion of the Border Security Force in Jammu and Kashmir, had in a series of videos said that the government has been doing enough to provide the security forces with essential items, but it is the BSF officials who are indulged in the wrong doings.

In one of the videos, the soldier also said: “From morning to evening we work, standing in all weather conditions. No matter the rain, no matter the snow, in all conditions we do our duty, but neither the media nor any minister pay heed to our problems.” He further claimed that they eat bad food and have slept empty stomach on several occasions.

The videos went viral on social media soon after the BSF jawan posted it on Facebook.

Meanwhile, the BSF refuted all the allegations and has now said that the soldier was just a “habitual offender”. They claimed that he had a drinking problem and has gone through a difficult past, further alleging that the BSF jawan used to remain absent on various occasions counseling regularly.
