It’s Monsoon In Mumbai & RJ Malishka Is Back At Mocking The City’s Potholes

RJ Malishka is back to mocking the deplorable state of Mumbai streets in this monsoon season in a new video. The 3-minute video is a spoof of the popular Marathi song ‘Zingaat’ from Sairat, titled ‘Mumbai Geli Khadyaat’.

Describing the city’s pathetic condition, this song puts every Mumbaikar’s rant into words. The song curtly manages to highlight serious issues faced by the maximum city.

According to The Indian Expressthe song talks about the condition of potholes in Mumbai and the overall condition of roads during the monsoons.

Last year, she got into trouble with the civic body, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), for taking a dig at their lack of preparation and the state of roads during monsoons. However, this time, she chose to avoid naming any authority or office for the city’s mess.

Known as ‘Mumbai Ki Rani’ on Twitter, this queen does not feel any need to tone down her outspoken nature and is well-known for saying it like it is. Just like last year, her video has found immense support from Mumbaikar’s on social media.

Heard your song @mymalishka. You captured our city’s pathetic condition and the pain of every proud #Mumbaikar very well. Thanks for your efforts. @RoadsOfMumbai @Lokhandwala_Bom. https://t.co/3NFJwmk4xW
