Reliance Jio woos Prime subscribers with 10 GB free data on early recharge

If subscribers opt for the Rs. 149 prepaid plan, under which, Jio offers 2 GB of data along with unlimited free calls, then they will get 1 GB of free data

Reliance Jio has really changed the landscape of India’s data usage, the Mukesh Ambani led telco is now offering 10 GB of free data to those who have Jio Prime subscriptions if they recharge their account before April 1, 2017. Customers who have already enrolled under the prime offer will get 10 GB data if they opt for tariff plan of Rs 499 and above by end of March, under Jio’s different prepaid plans.

Those opting for Rs 149 prepaid plan that offers 2 GB data with unlimited calls, will get additional 1 GB data free. Similarly under the Rs. 303 plan, Jio offers 5 GB of free data along with 28 GB of data subscribers are originally entitled for.

If subscribers opt for the Rs. 149 prepaid plan, under which, Jio offers 2 GB of data along with unlimited free calls, then they will get 1 GB of free data. Similarly under the Rs. 303 plan, subscribers will get 5 GB of free data along with 28 GB that they are originally entitled for.

Meanwhile, those who have opted for Rs. 499, Rs. 999, Rs. 1999, Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 9,999 tariff plans will be getting 10 GB of free data over and above the data originally on offer.

Also three plans starting from the base plan  i.e. Rs. 149, Rs. 303 and Rs. 499 have a validity of 28 days while Rs. 999 plan offers a validity of 60 days.

While Rs 1,999 and Rs 4,999 comes with validity of 90 and 180 days respectively, Rs. 9,999 plan of Jio will have a validity of 360 days.

Jio began its operation in September 2016 and with its lucrative promotional offers, it already has crossed 10 crore subcribes mark. Jio created storm in Indian telecom sector and brought the data and call prices crashing down.
