Rahul Gandhi attacks Narendra Modi, says PM has firebombed poor people with demonetisation

Rahul Gandhi lashed out at PM Narendra Modi during a rally in Jaunpur. Claims that demonetization has failed.

Soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed the opposition Congress party during a parivartan rally in Kanpur, Rahul Gandhi  lashed out at PM Modi during while addressing a rally in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh saying that demonetisation was a war against people.

Asserting that demonetisation was a anti-people move, Gandhi claimed that the decision of demonetisation that was taken on November 8 is not against corruption or black money but against the farmers and the poor people.  “Even the honest tax payers are suffering,” he added.

Gandhi claimed that black money is not being abolished but instead 1% of the population are now possessing 60% of the money. Blaming the Prime Minister, he said that 50 families of the country hold the maximum amount of this money adding that these people are now keeping black money not in the form of currency notes but in the form of Gold and Real Estate.

The Congress vice president unleashed a scathing attack on the Prime Minister, saying that contrary to what people believe, Modi’s demonestisation drive was not a good idea and mismanaged planning but a full-fledged managed plan to block all the money poor people possessed.

While refferring to Vijay Mallya, Rahul Gandhi further claimed that the Prime Minister had waived off loans of the rich but refuses to take steps on waiving off farmer loans. He also said that there should be no sloganeering against the Prime Minister and that the Congress party will defeat him politically.
