Ex Madhya Pradesh CM Sunderlal Patwa dies at 92

Sunderlal Patwa passed away at the age if 92 was a senior BJP leader and had served as the Chied Minister of MP for a brief period twice.

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Sunderlal Patwa passed away at the age of 92 on 28 December. The senior leader died after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The Madhya Pradesh government has declared a 3 day mourning in the state after the demise of the leader. Sunderlal Patwa has served as the chief minister of the state twice. Once for a short period of two months in 1980 and then again from 1990 to 1992.

He was the first a member of the Janata party when he first served at the Chief Minister for two and then became a BJP leader during his second term. He was also the Cabinet Minister when Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister in the year 2001.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to condole his death:
