Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat is extremely popular in India. The Prime Minister tries to reach out to the masses across the country through this radio programme. However, did you know that the Mann ki Baat programme is quite popular abroad too?

As per a DNA report, an official data has revealed that Prime Minister’s radio address receive more feedback from listeners in countries like Australis and Bangladesh compared to other countries where it is played on repeat. The report further stated that the radio has received over 753 feedbacks via email from Australia and at least 608 from the United States.

They have also received feedback via WhatsApp from East African countries. The Mann Ki Baat address has also managed to receive a lot of feedback from the Gulf countries. However, there is confirmation on the exact number of emails received from Pakistan and Afghanistan. 18 WhatsApp messages have been received from Pakistan.

“Majority of responses come from Indians settled abroad where they speak of the PM’s efforts in getting India noticed,” DNA quoted a Prasar Bharti as saying.

Some of the messages that the officials have received suggest that steps should be taken to make sure that the cultural values of the country are noticed by countries that the Prime Minister visits. The show has also received requests from Indian origin businessmen stationed abroad speaking about easing doing business with the country. Some of the letters from Balochistan also reportedly thank the Prime Minister for highlighting the issue.
