No need for disabled to stand up for national anthem in movie theatres: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court on November 30 had made it mandatory for people to stand up for national anthem before movie is screened in theatres.

The Supreme Court on Friday granted an exemption to specially-abled people from standing up for the national anthem in cinema halls.

The apex court also clearly stated that the doors of cinema halls should not be bolted while the film is being screened, Tv reports said.

On November 30, the Supreme Court had ordered that people should stand up for the national anthem before the movie is screened.
