Mann Ki Baat Highlights: New India not about VIP, It’s about EPI- every person is important,’ says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to host the 31st edition of his monthly radio programme, Mann Ki Baat. Here are the live updates

After registering a landslide victory in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) eletions, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted the 31st edition of Mann Ki baat on April 30. In his 31st address, Prime Minister urged the youth to travel, explore and learn as much as they can. He further asked the young Indians to go to their neighbourhood and play with the local children. Prime Minister asserted that experience could teach a person more than books could.

PM Modi had last addressed the nation through his monthly radio programme on March 26 soon after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) registered a clear mandate in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand in assembly elections 2017.

In his last address, the Prime Minister had spoken about depression at length and urged people to address the problem and speak about it instead of ignoring it adding that there was nothing to be embarrassed about it. He had also asserted that the mothers who got maternity leave during pregnancy and delivery for 12 weeks, will now get maternity leave for 26 weeks.
