Confirmed! ICSE Class 10 Results 2017 will not be declared today. Here’s when you will get to know it

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is not releasing the results of ICSE Class 10 exams 2017 today

What may add to the anxiety of the number of students, parents, and teachers eagerly waiting for the exam, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) confirmed that they are not going to declare the ICSE class 10 exams results on May 15.

It was earlier reported that the board was all set to declare the results on their official website. The board further urged the students to keep an eye on the official website where the exact date of the results will be announced. Similarly, there has been no official confirmation on the exact date of ISC class 12 exam results.

“Consequent to the dates for Assembly elections being announced for the states of Punjab, Goa, Manipur, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, the dates for ICSE and ISC examinations had to be rescheduled,” Indian Express quoted Chief Executive and Secretary of the CISCE, Gerry Arathoon as saying.

According to several media reports, the officials have affirmed that the result date will be announced on newspapers and the official website cisce.org a week before the results are out.

The  ICSE Class 10 exam, that was scheduled to begin on 27 February and conclude on 31 March, but were actually held between 10 March and 21 April due to assembly elections. 2,50,871 students reportedly appeared for the examinations in 2017, where 1,76,327 students were registered for ICSE examinations and 74,544 for the ISC examinations.

To check your results you will need to go to the official website cisce.org and fill in your enrollment number along with the date of birth. You can also download and take a printout of the results for future reference.
