Every year, this time students who have given their class 10th and class 12th eagerly wait for their results, On May 28, CBSE board also announced its much-awaited class 12th result. In the coming few days, all the results will be out. Some students score really good whereas some could not achieve the percentage that they expected. Around this time, there is a lot of pressure on students waiting for their results. Students who score lower marks, many a time get into depression and there have been cases when student unhappy with their results have taken their life.
Talking about this issue, a Delhi-based Vaibhav Jha, who could not clear his 12th board exam in the first attempt, has written a Facebook post in which he states that 10 years after his result came out, now the marks that he got does not even matter. He also tells that soon after his class 12th results came out, “everyone else around me acted like I had committed a crime”. Vaibhav writes that pressure to clear the exam was so much on him that he even thought of selling his kidneys to get the question paper leaked but after 10 years his board marks do not really matter.

I have marketed start-ups, Production-houses, Film Festivals, Feature Films, Restaurants, Hotels, Actors & Directors. You name it. I make a pretty decent living and so do the people that work with/for me. So, I pay salaries. Me. The dude who was scheduled to sit in a grocery store or a telemarketers chair.

“I know countless other folks like me. People who failed thrice! (OMG imagine how that would be) And they make 6 figures every month doing what they love. Don’t get sad. Especially if what you are studying simply doesn’t appeal to you. It is OKAY to not like what you study. It’s OKAY that you hate graphs and eco makes you react to gluten. It’s OKAY. It is just a passing phase.”
