Finally some silence in Parliament, Congress to observe black day

Parliament is being stalled for the consecutive days due to uproar by the opposition parties who are demanding a debate on demonetisation.

It has been exactly a month since Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the government’s decision to demonetisation Rs 500 and Rs 1000. The opposition parties have created a ruckus in both the houses of the parliament over the issue. However, on Thursday the Congress party has announced that they are going to observe black day in the parliament.

“It has been a month since the demonetisation drive was undertaken. Today we will not protest but observe a black day in the parliament. Today we will be silent in the parliament,” Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad told the media.

However, the opposition leaders are protesting in front of the Gandhi statue outside the parliament to protest against demoentisation.
