Cyrus Mistry, Tatas move company law tribunal over leadership rejig

Cyrus Mistry was removed as Tata Sons chairman on Monday, as Ratan Tata became interim boss of the conglomerate.

Exactly a day after he was removed as Tata Sons chairman, Cyrus Mistry on Tuesday filed four caveats before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) against Ratan Tata, Tata Group and Tata Trusts. A caveat is basically a notice or a warning.

Three of the four caveats have been filed by him against Ratan Tata, Tata Sons and Dorabji Trust, PTI reported. One caveat has been filed by Cyrus Investments Private Limited against Ratan Tata and Tata Sons.

Meanwhile, the Tatas too filed caveat before Supreme Court, Bombay High Court and NCLT to prevent Mistry from getting an ex-parte order against his sacking.

More details awaited.
