Here are 10 educational YouTube channels that can help you prepare for entrance tests

With the CBSE and ICSE results out, many students have now shifted their focus completely to prepare for entrance exams of various universities. Here are 10 educational YouTube channels that can help you prepare for entrance tests:

1. Khan Academy

Khan Academy is founded by Salman “Sal” Khan, an American educator, mathematician and entrepreneur. It is a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing “free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere”. With over 4 million subscribers, their interactive practice problems, articles, and videos help students in math, biology, chemistry, physics, history, economics, finance, grammar, and many other topics. Khan Academy provides a special lecture series for IIT-JEE preparation. They also offer free personalized SAT and LSAT practice. Their resources have been translated into dozens of languages, and 15 million people around the globe learn on Khan Academy each month.

2. Unacademy

Unacademy.com is one of India’s largest free education initiatives. Unacademy is co-founded by Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini, Hemesh Singh and Sachin Gupta. On YouTube, Unacademy is reportedly India’s ‘top educational channel’. Their goal is having “the world’s entire education on our platform in all languages”. Unacademy has separate channels for engineering and medical entrances – Unacademy JEE and Unacademy Medical respectively. Presently, they have more than 3 million subscribers.

Wifistudy, a subsidiary of Unacademy provides video lectures for cracking SSC, Banking, railway, state police and other Government exams. With a staggering 7.9 million subscribers, it is India’s fastest growing study channel with around 20,000 new subscribers every day. It conducts 40+ live classes Monday through Friday.

3. Physics Wallah

The YouTube channel Physics Wallah is owned by Alakh Pandey. He provides students all over India with conceptual education in Physics and Chemistry for JEE and NEET, free of cost. According to his students, he clears all concepts with a deep approach and does questions and answers in each video lecture. He conducts polls to decide which topics to teach and also provides notes of the chapters on his website. He has over 1 million subscribers.

4. Etoos

Etoos India provides “easy-to-use educational services to students across India” by using the latest educational tools and software. They help students prepare for JEE and NEET at their convenience. With over 9 lakh followers, Etoos India has a vision “to help each student experience success”.

5. Dronstudy.com

Dronstudy is a digital educator set up by scientists and IIT alumni. Its main focus is to “make education easier and fun” by clubbing information technology and ancient style of teaching. With over 8 lakh subscribers, Dronstudy is a popular YouTube channel providing students with JEE and NEET coaching.

6. Gradeup

Gradeup is an online exam-preparation destination for JEE, banking, SSC and Government exams like railway, teaching, UPSC civil services, law, NEET, CAT, defence, UGC NET amongst others. It provides students access to video lectures, live teaching sessions, exam analysis and other information like exam patterns, syllabus, results, tips and strategy.

7. Any Time Padhai (ATP) Academy

ATP academy is a Kota based online IIT-JEE and NEET academy.  Founded by Vineet Khatri, ATP Academy provides online content in the form of short video lectures for  IIT-JEE and NEET preparation. With around 4 lakh subscribers, ATP Academy also provides tips, guidelines and motivation through videos for JEE and NEET aspirants.

8. NEETprep

NEETprep provides online coaching through videos, specifically curated for NEET. Their vision is “to make their videos available to every student who aspires to pursue a career in the medical field”. This channel provides students with easy to understand video lectures and also posts chapter-wise video lectures. Moreover, NEETprep also shares some very useful tips for NEET preparation.

9. Akash Digital

Aakash Digital is an e-learning platform introduced by Aakash Educational Services Ltd. It prepares students for National and State level medical and engineering entrance exams. NEET and JEE online courses are provided through live interactive classes and recorded video lectures here.

10. M Learning India

M Learning India provides students with video lectures and e-study material, designed specifically for the preparation of entrance exam viz IIT-JEE, NEET and NTSE.

Self-study material, self-assessment tools, feedback mechanism and other useful features of M Learning make it a popular study channel among students. M Learning has separate channels for IIT-JEE and NEET.
