With each passing day there has been growing clamour within BJP leaders for building Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the latest to join it is a BJP MLA from Hyderabad Raja Singh, who has threaten to behead those who are opposing it.

Raja said, “to those who warn of dire consequences if Ram Mandir built. We were waiting for you to say this so we can behead you,” as tweeted by ANI.

The BJP legislator from Hyderabad’s Goshamal constituency is not new to controversies, in December 2015 he had warned of Dadri like lynching. He had said, “We warn them against a Dadri-like incident in Telangana. To save cows, we can give and take lives.” In September 2015, Mohammad Akhlaq was lynched by a mob for allegedly storing and consuming beef at his home.

His statement has come just a day after Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti said that Ayodhya is a matter of belief for her and she is ready to go jail to jail for Ram temple in Ayodhya. She said, “Ram temple is a matter of belief for me and I have immense pride in it…if I have to go to jail for it I will go, if I have to hang myself for it I will do it.”

Few days back Supreme Court had suggested to resolve the Ayodhya issue through talks. However, Babri panel did not agree with CJI’s directive and affirmed that a clear decision should be made. RSS said, “We welcome the observation, all sides can sit and find a solution”.
