The All India Institute of Medical Sceince (AIIMS) is expected to declare results for its MBBS 2017 entrance examination tonight. Earlier there were reports that the premiere medical institute may postpone the results in wake of paper leak controversy, following which AIIMS constituted a committee to probe the matter. The panel in its report said that there was no paper leak but added that some candidates in a particular centre with the help of few officials indulged in cheating. AIIMS MBBS result 2017 could be checked on its official website aiimsexams.org and also on the on the websites of other six AIIMS.
Candidates can follow following steps to check their AIIMS MBBS Result 2017
-go to the official website aiimsexams.org
-click on the AIIMS MBBS Result 2017 page
-The page will redirect automatically to two pdf files
-The roll number-wise pdf will list out candidates who have passed the entrance exam as per the qualifying criteria.
-The pdf will also consist of candidate’s name, ranks, roll number and percentile score in separate orders along with All India Rank (AIR), name, category and the counselling date allotted to them.
The official site will display the names of the students who qualify for counseling to the MBBS course with their roll numbers. The entrance examination for the MBBS course was conducted on 28 May at various centres across the country and around 2.8 lakh students appeared in it. According to careers360.com, AIIMS will declare the results both rank-wise and roll number-wise. Earlier, the AIIMS committee in its report has stated that some candidates had indulged in cheating in connivance with the officials of the examination centre in Uttar Pradesh and has recommended a CBI probe into the matter.
