You should know this list of 8 father-son duo from TV and their shocking age gaps

From Karan Patel and Abhishek Verma to Mahesh Thakur and Nakul Mehta, check out 8 television serial which proved that age is just a number

Bollywood has had a history of casting a 40 something actor opposite a 20 something actress and everyone goes like, ‘oh, poor girl has to romance someone twice her age’, ‘that typically happens with actresses and their careers’ etc! Basically, we come to accept it over time. But what we recently found in TV serials baffled us because, this time, it has something to do with actors for a change.

The age gap between the actors who play father-son duo in the popular daily soaps was literally as bad as what happens in Bollywood. Besides, current shows like Ye Hai Mohabbatein, or Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, even famous TV shows which have now gone off the air (read Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi) had male actors with just slight age gaps playing on-screen fathers and sons.
