After Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai, Sai Pallavi walks out of Chiyaan Vikram film

After opting out of a dream debut with Mani Ratnam's Kaatru Veliyidai, Sai Pallavi has walked out from another magnum opus, a Chiyaan Vikram film

Seems like Premam fame Sai Pallavi still has to wait for her Tamil debut. After opting out of a dream debut with Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai, Sai Pallavi has walked out from another magnum opus, a Chiyaan Vikram film. Directed by Vijay Chander and produced by Silverline Film Factory, the film is set to be an action entertainer. The yet-to-be-titled movie also marks the first collaboration of Vikram and Vijay Chander.

The actual reason for Sai Pallavi backing out from the film is still unknown, however, there are reports that since the film didn’t take off on time, she was left with no option other than letting herself out as she couldn’t manage the dates required for the film.

Sai Pallavi had signed the film as she was told the film will commence from January. However, Vikram’s sudden change of plans to go ahead and finish the remaining portions of Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram has worked against her dates allocated for the film. The Kali actress didn’t have any choice as her dates with other film were clashing with the same and thus made her back out from the Vikram film.

Meanwhile, there are also reports that Baahubali actress Tamannaah Bhatia has replaced Sai Pallavi to play the female lead in the Vijay Chander film. The film will mark the first collaboration of Vikram and Tamannaah.
