Golden Globe Awards 2017: How and where to watch the ceremony live in India?

The 74th Golden Globe Awards are coming this weekend and it is going to be awesome!

The 74th Golden Globe Awards are almost upon us while it is a “yuge” event, as the US President-elect would say, questions like “when, where, what?!” are common down in India. Actually, where do you watch it? Thankfully, we did some research for your benefit. First off, the Golden Globes ceremony will be telecast on NBC on the night of January 8 which, would be the morning of January 9 (Monday) here.

The Golden Globes will be telecast in India at 7:30 am on Monday. You can tune into Colors Infinity, Colors Infinity HD, Comedy Central, and VH1 India to watch the ceremony live. If you’re not much of a TV person (or don’t own one), you can always stream the ceremony online from the Golden Globes website or their Facebook page at 8:15 am ET.

La La Land has received seven nominations at the Golden Globes this year.

The nominees are awarded the Golden Globes by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). The ceremony, which is to be held in Beverly Hills, California, will be hosted by comedian and talk show host Jimmy Fallon.

Meryl Streep will receive the Honorary Cecil B. Demille Award at the Golden Globe Awards.

Meryl Streep, who has been nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role in Florence Foster Jenkins (her 30th nomination), will also be receiving an honorary Cecil B. Demille Award at the ceremony. She has seven Golden Globes to her name, five as Best Actress and two as Best Supporting Actress.

One of the presenters at the awards in none other than Quantico star and Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra. Some of the other presenters include Nicole Kidman, Matt Damon, Gal Gadot, Viola Davis, Kristen Bell, Drew Barrymore, Jessica Chastain, Ben Affleck, Chris Pine, Eddie Redmayne, Amy Schumer, Sofia Vergara, Reese Witherspoon, Sylvester Stallone, and Zoe Saldana.
