Sunita Rajwar slams Nawazuddin Siddiqui for his book in a Facebook post, plans to take legal action

Nawazuddin Siddiqui also alleges in his memoir that he slept with his Miss Lovely co-star Niharika Singh

Ever since Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s biography, An Ordinary Life: A Memoir was released, excerpts from the book have gone viral on social media. The excerpts have created a lot of buzz due to their candid content. The book, which reveals intimate details from Nawazuddin’s personal life like his one-night stands and romantic dinner dates, was slammed by Miss Lovely star Niharika Singh who the biography alleges to be his girlfriend. Nawazuddin continues to face the ire, this time by renowned theatre artiste Sunita Rajwar. Sunita has been mentioned as Nawazuddin’s love interest in the book.

Captioning the long Facebook post ‘“An Ordinary Life” Of “Extraordinary Lies” The real truth behind why I left Nawaz?’, Sunita lashed out at Nawazuddin and claimed Nawaz was lying in the book when he writes he did not know her during his National School of Drama (NSD) days.

Sunita, in her post, also questioned him on what he wrote about her writing their names and drawing artwork on his walls, which he alleges to have whitewashed post their break-up. According to Sunita, there was no artwork drawn and their relationship lasted hardly for three shows they did for a play.

Earlier, Niharika Singh had also slammed Nawaz for allegedly writing about her in the book without taking her consent. She had said,

Nawaz and I had a brief relationship during the making of Miss Lovely that lasted less than a few months in 2009. So today when he paints me as a ‘woman in fur’ enticing him into her bedroom with candles, or desperately calling him and mailing other women on his behalf, I can only laugh. He obviously wants to sell his book and it would appear that he is willing to exploit and disrespect a woman just to do so. He has chosen to fabricate stories and manipulate a fleeting relationship. None of what he has written has been with my knowledge, let alone my consent. It is this very aspect of Nawaz that caused me to end my relationship with him in the first place. I have always maintained that he’s a brilliant actor. However, I had hoped these acting skills would have remain confined only to the screen. Still, I wish him well. This is all I have to say.
