Jolly LLB 2 Box Office collection Day 5: Akshay Kumar film benefits from Valentines Day celebrations

Despite being struck in legal hiccups, Jolly LLB 2 is sailing effortlessly at the box office and has done a great business in just 5 days of its release

Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 is roaring high at the box office and has proved to be one of Khiladi Kumar’s best films so far.

Despite being struck in legal hiccups thrice, the movie is sailing effortlessly at the box office and has done a great business in just 5 days of its release. Akshay Kumar’s performance as Jagdishwar Misha aka Jolly is also being highly appreciated by the audience.

Jolly LLB 2 has done a business of Rs 13.20 crore on Friday, Rs 17.31 on Saturday, Rs 19.95 crore on Sunday, Rs 7.26 crore on Monday and Rs 9.07 crore on Tuesday, minting a total of Rs 66.79 crore so far.

The film saw a huge rise in collections on the Valentine’s Day and is making its place stronger at the box office day by day. Jolly LLB 2 also surpassed the lifetime collections of the first installment Jolly LLB in just two days of its release.

In fact, the film has recorded an all-time biggest weekend in February in the history of Bollywood and is all set to cross Rs 100 crore mark in a day or two.

Directed by Subhash Kapoor, it is the second installment of Jolly LLB and this time Jolly is back with a new agenda and a new cause. Jolly LLB 2 also stars Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Shukla and Annu Kapoor in prominent roles.

The film was made on a budget of 45 crores and has already recovered the cost from the satellite, digital and music rights.

Trade Analyst Joginder Tuteja took to Twitter and wrote:

With the film doing exceptionally well at the box office, it will surely break some more records in the coming weeks.
