‘Youth’ Rahul Gandhi says, ‘have joined hands with Akhilesh for progress of youngsters in UP’

Addressing a rally in Barabanki, the Gandhi scion said," Two youth have come together and they will not make false promises of Rs 15 lakh and they will work for the betterment of youth in the state."

Congress Vice president Rahul Gandhi took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying the SP-Congress alliance will not make false promises and would work for youth in the state.

Addressing a rally in Barabanki, the Gandhi scion said,” Two youth have come together and they will not make false promises of Rs 15 lakh and they will work for the betterment of youth in the state.”

Before Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi had said that if chosen to power, his government will bring back black money and reimburse the bank accounts of common man with Rs 15 lakh.

He also questioned work done by Modi government in last two and half years.

He also said Prime Minister had promised to provide jobs to 2 crore youths but he failed to give job to even 1 lakh of them.

He also slammed Prime Minister’s demonetisation drive saying his decision forced the common man to stand in line .

Mr Gandhi also reiterated that only 6% of black money is in cash and rest 94% are with rich people.

“Prime Minister did not look for the 94% black money of rich people , he was after the hard earned money of farmers.”

Gandhi also targetted the government saying,” After waiving off Rs 40,000 crore of rich, prime minister did not waived off the loans of farmers.”

“Congress government had waived off Rs 70,000 crore of the farmers,” he added.
