Son of Muhammad Ali detained for two hours at Florida airport

The son of late legendary boxer Muhammad Ali was reportedly detained at an airport in Florida for two hours by US immigration officials. Muhammad Ali Jr. and his mother Khalilah Camacho-Ali, the second wife of Muhammad Ali, were arriving at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport from a Black History Month event in Jamaica on Feb. 7 when they were pulled aside by customs and questioned over their Muslim name, US today quoted his lawyer and family friend Chris Mancini. Thousands turn up to join funeral of martyred Indian soldier in strife-torn Kashmir

Thousands attended the funeral of Lance Naik Ghulam Mohiuddin Rather at his Punchpora village in Kashmir’s Anantnag, a rare sight for a fallen Indian soldier given the troubled past of the valley. Mohiuddin, was one of the three soldiers of 44 Rashtriya Rifles martyred in a militant ambush at Mulu Chitragam in Kashmir’s Shopian district on February 23 when they were returning from an anti-terror operation near Kungnoo village. Manipur assembly elections 2017: PM Narendra Modi to address rally in Imphal

Ahead of the state assembly elections in Manipur scheduled on March 8 and March 11, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Imphal’s West district to campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate and address a rally on February 25. The rally will be conducted Langjing Achouba which was earlier scheduled to happen at the Kangla Fort but later changed as an objection was raised by Irom Sharmila’s People Resurgence and Justice Alliance (PRJA) urging that the fort is a sacred place for state’s people.
