While most were expecting Rahul vs Modi memes to the social media after the Lok Sabha elections, an excavation machine has trumped India’s politicians when it comes to its online presence. Since May 27, ‘#JCBKiKhudayi’ has been trending on social media because…well…why not?

It all started when a Twitter user pointed out that random videos of JCB excavators digging earth had garnered millions of views on YouTube. She also quipped that the reason for India’s supposedly high unemployment was actually people spending their time watching JCB machines dig.
