Yep, you weren’t expecting this, but it happened. Suicide Squad just won an Oscar.
The award went to Alessandro Bertolazzi, Giorgio Gregorini, and Christopher Nelson for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.
Most critics claimed the movie was disastrous and it was famously snubbed during the Oscar nominations. It’s unusual for a movie like Suicide Squad to be a winner at the Academy Awards, and the internet is divided in a heated argument.
The best part was that in his acceptance speech, Bertolazzi, an Italian immigrant and said, “This is for all the immigrants.”
Yes, the win has caused quite a frenzy online. Fans of the movie are taking a moment to celebrate a the win, while others question the film’s win.
