Sachin: A Billion Dreams promotions get too much for Twitter, jokes follow

As Sachin: A Billion Dreams hits the theatre, twitterati are busy talking about the over-the-top promotions by Sachin Tendulkar

As Sachin: A Billion Dreams hits theatre today, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar is all set to start a new innings in his life. And we all know he is a man of numbers both on and the off field. So far, the reviews have been positive and fans are loving every bit of it. From audience reviews to critics, people are going gaga over Sachin’s biopic and they have all reasons to. The film features another side of the legendary cricketer, which went unnoticed thanks to his astounding fandom and larger-than-life image. The film opens doors to many unseen and untold stories about his personal life and equations with cricketers, his struggle, and his the roles he played off the cricket field.

The film is sure to amass great numbers because of three reasons. One, it’s a biopic on one of the most famous cricketers in the world. Two, in a country where cricket is a religion and Sachin their god, there’s no way people wouldn’t want to witness their god. Three, Sachin’s dedication on the field was paralleled by his dedication during the promotions. Yes! Master Blaster left no stone un-turned to promote Sachin: A Billion Dreams and the kind of hard work and dedication is commendable.

But with frenzied paparazzi and accolades comes a bit of criticism (or so to say, sarcasm!). Sachin’s dedication during the promotions of the film did not go down well with Twitter and thus, start a new series of witty tweets about Sachin’s promotion:
