Earlier, when fans had heard that Sushant Singh Rajput will be working on a project with world-renowned model Kendall Jenner for Vogue India, it was the best news ever. To have the Indian actor pose with one of the Kardashian-Jenners was something one would only deem incredible. However, it was when the photoshoot was released that Indians started to get furious.
Kendall’s face and crooked back pasted on the cover of Vogue India’s Collector’s Edition issue irked most, if not all. The photo shoot was intended for the 10th anniversary of Vogue India but, the fashion magazine decided to go with an American model’s face for it.

People have argued that since the shoot was meant to celebrate 10 years of Vogue in India, the face of the magazine should have been an Indian one as opposed to one that has been synonymous with controversy, of late.

Ignoring the more prominent Indian faces like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, the fashion magazine chose to go with a white face. “I am utterly disappointed in this Vogue India anniversary cover. There are so many deserving Indian models that should’ve got it,” wrote one Twitter user.
