Nicki Minaj funded development in this unnamed Indian village, social media amazed

American rapper Nicki Minaj helps an unnamed village in India by secretly providing a hefty sum of money for many years.

Nicki Minaj  is the queen of rap and goddess of sass. That’s all we know about the famous rapper who swayed the world with many hits like Anaconda, Bang Bang, Super Bass, among others. But as they say, the things we know about people are just a tip of the iceberg, the rest remains mostly undiscovered. But lately, the famous singer is helping us to know her other side – the humanitarian Nicki Minaj.

A few days ago, the American rapper gave her fans a fabulous surprise on Twitter. She agreed to pay student loans, pending bills, tuition fees if they could show her A grades and a school verification. She literally gave thousands of dollars to students and promised to do more. What a great way to support education, isn’t it?

Show me straight A’s that I can verify w/ur school and I’ll pay it. Who wants to join THAT contest?!? Dead serious. Shld I set it up? https://t.co/czH715u64a

While we were still drooling over the lovely side of Nicki Minaj, the 34-year-old singer through a series of revelations on Instagram gave us more reasons to do so. Nicki revealed that she has been sending money to an unnamed village in India over the last few years. She has helped the village gain access to basic but rare amenities like clean water, technology and most importantly, education. In a video she posted on Instagram, an Indian man surrounded by village women is showcasing the newly installed hand pump.

This is the kind of thing that makes me feel the most proud. The money I’ve sent to this village in India for the last couple years [via my Pastor Lydia Sloley], has gotten them a Computer Center, a Tailoring Institute, a Reading Program and 2 WATER WELLS. We complain about the most ridiculous little things when some ppl don’t even have clean water. Blessings to India. Our work is far from done. I’ll tell you guys more about my charity work in the near future in case you’d like to be a part of it. Love

She also shared a picture, in which the village women are being presented with sewing machines.

I’m so proud of our sisters in India. God is so good. Their desire was to have water wells & places where they can worship, places where they can learn technology, computers, reading, etc. We’re just getting started. These women are us and we are them!
