Everyday Yoga saves my life. Sometimes I wake up and I have no mobility in my ankle(I’ve had a bad ankle for years because of an accident I had years ago), but as soon as I finish my practice of Ashtanga, I have so much more mobility there. On a mental level, the practice keeps me motivated and inspired about life, there is always a new pose to look forward to, at the same time it gives me deep sense of bliss and contentment with what I have. I get to meet some of the nicest, coolest, loveliest people through teaching and practicing all over the world. Yoga saved my life and continues to do so every day. #ashtangayogalove #yogaeverydamnday . . . @radeshphotography

Happy International Day of Yoga The word ‘yoga’ derives from Sanskrit and means to join or to unite, symbolising the union of body and consciousness. And today aims to raise awareness worldwide about Yoga and its benefits. So let’s today aim to do something that will unite both our body and our consciousness. Normally I would be doing a free class, but I’m going on holiday Forgive me! But please take sometime for yourself today, find your yoga. I’ll be fasting today and starting my day with Ashtanga with the beautiful @tashtanga. Happy yogaing. Lets let everyday be yoga day Pic credits: @leeedwardphoto @leeedwardphotography
