On ‘Punish A Muslim Day’, Here’s Stuff That Muslims Are Tired Of Hearing

As scores of people received letters promoting a day of violence towards Muslims across the UK, the world is now talking about hate crimes and Islamophobia. Yes, we’re still in 2018 folks. To the uninitiated, here is the letter being circulated with points being scored for different hate crimes against Muslims:

The good people of UK have tried to retaliate with hashtags like #WeStandTogether trending on Twitter and people tweeting out messages of unity:

Tomorrow is Love All People Day in my house. If you’re a Muslim around Hammersmith/Askew area on Tuesday and you feel unsafe DM me. I’ll be home most of the day and can escort you and offer help.

But let’s be honest, we’re still not very ‘culture sensitive’ when it comes to talking to our Muslim buddies. From saying stuff like Tumhare yahan toh bhai behen aapas mai shaadi karte hai to asking them How many wives does their father have, we still have a long way to go before we stop pestering them. On that note, check out this video where we sat down with our Muslim friends to discuss the absurd things they’ve heard because of their religion.

And the children shall lead…
